Warehouse Operative – Full Time

CREGG are working with a global leader in innovative energy and retail solutions client in Co Dublin, in hiring a Warehouse Operative – Full Time.

 

The Warehouse Operator would be required to work for their day shift from 8am to 4pm Monday- Friday. The position is in an extremely busy warehouse environment, and candidate should have previous experience in this environment.

Candidate will be required to commute so own transport will be essential (Client located in an Industrial Estate)

 

Job Responsibilities / Description

  • Receiving, Storing, Assembling, packaging and unpacking goods.
  • Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods.
  • Issuing of stock, tools and equipment to engineers.          
  • Recording of stock receipts onto the computer system to enable accurate stock inventory
  • Ensuring all received stock is undamaged and all ordered is correct.
  • Monitor stock levels and organising existing inventory.
  • Picking and dispatching of standard stock items.
  • Inform logistics manager of any non-conformance stock items.
  • Storing stock safely and ensuring the yard, stores are tidy and well organised.
  • Record returns from installation engineers to pass on to Logistics Manager.
  • Update stock locations as required on the computer system and ensure all are labelled correctly. 
  • Run van replenishment weekly for service engineers
  • Adhere to TSG quality, environment, health and safety requirements, regulations and safe work procedures.
  • Drive company vehicle when needed doing collections and deliveries.

 

Hours of work:

  • Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00.
  • Permanent, Long-Term position.

 

Rate of Pay:

  • €28,000 (€14.35 per hour)

 

Warehouse Qualifications and skills.

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
  • Full driving licence and/or forklift license desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (independently and as part of a small team), enthusiastic and willingness to learn.
  • Compellent in using computer systems.
  • Clear and effective communication.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and enthusiastic. Able to adapt to different areas of the business.
  • Good timekeeper with a reliable attendance record.
  • Awareness of health and safety responsibilities in a warehouse environment.
