Sales Advisor
CREGG is delighted to be partnering with one of Irelands leading renewable energy specialists based in North Co. Cork. Due to ongoing growth, our client is now seeking an office-based Sales Advisor to join their team to assist their customers and partner network in determining SEAI Retrofit grant eligibility.
The Role: As a Sales Advisor, you will assist their customers and partner network in determining SEAI Retrofit grant eligibility. Once the proposal is presented to the client, it's the responsibility of the Sales Advisor to discuss the proposal with the homeowner, guiding them on pricing, project timelines and recommending home energy upgrade measures with the best value and clients ROI in mind.
This position requires a demonstrated understanding of Building Energy Ratings (BER) and ideally, the various SEAI grant schemes.
Comprehensive SEAI grants scheme training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivator, confident and personable with a proven track record in a target-driven sales environment and the ability to close opportunities successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by delivering compelling sales presentations and guiding customers through the decision-making process.
- Develop a deep understanding through our training of energy upgrade products and services, including financing and government incentives.
- Build relationships with prospective customers through inbound leads, events, and referrals.
- Conduct virtual consultations to assess home energy needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are accurately scoped and successfully delivered.
- Accurately record and report daily activity in CRM system.
- Stay informed on industry developments, grant scheme updates, and energy efficiency best practices.
Requirements:
- You will ideally have at least 2-3 years proven experience in sales, preferably in energy, home improvement, or a related industry.
- Understanding of energy efficiency products (solar, insulation, and heat pumps) or a willingness to learn.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and compelling manner.
- Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools to track leads and sales activities.
