Forklift Driver – Rotating Shift

CREGG Recruitment are looking for Forklift Driver – 2 Shift Cycle, for full time work in Clara, Co. Offaly. Our client is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, looking to grow and expand their business.

Job description – Forklift Driver:

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
• Operating and managing technical equipment.
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Adhering to production schedules.

Hours of Work

This role operates on a 2-week rotating shift pattern, alternating weekly:

Day Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

Evening Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm – 12:00am (Midnight)
• Friday: 3:00pm – 9:30pm

Guaranteed 39 hours a week plus opportunities for Overtime hours (voluntary) at higher rate.

Salary – Weekly payment:

• €18.08 p/h

Job requirements:

• Forklift experience is essential.
• Valid counterbalance OR reach truck licence/ticket.
• Previous experience in stockroom/warehouse (min 2 years).
• Valid driving licence and min age 25.
• Own transport essential due to site location and hours of work.

Contract type:

• Full time
• 3 months, potential of long term 

Immediate start preferred.
