Exciting new job opportunity for a Business Operations Manager to join a small sized manufacturing company in Limerick.

This is a hands-on role offering broad responsibility across operations, people, customers and commercial performance. Working closely with the business owner, the Business Operations Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business while helping to improve operational performance, strengthen customer relationships and support continued growth.

The role
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on operational experience within a manufacturing, production, supply chain or fulfilment environment.

Planning, supply chain and fulfilment experience is essential, along with a strong track record in customer and stakeholder management.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading day-to-day production, planning, supply chain and fulfilment
• Managing scheduling, resources and capacity to meet customer demand
• Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Leading, developing and managing team performance
• Managing key customer relationships, including escalations and service delivery
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate additional revenue
• Supporting sales and new business opportunities
• Balancing customer requirements with operational capability, cost and profitability

Requirements

• Proven experience in operational management, ideally within manufacturing, production, supply chain, or fulfilment environment.
• Track record of improving operational efficiency, leading teams, and achieving performance targets.
• Experience with operational metrics, process improvement, and workflow optimisation.
• Relevant qualifications in operations, logistics, engineering, or business are preferred.
