Production Operator
CREGG are looking for Production Operators for short term contract work in Shannon, County Clare.
Our client is a growing life sciences manufacturing company, looking to add more staff for their day shift production requirements.
Job Description – Production Operator:
- Preparing materials and equipment
- Performing manufacturing operations
- Preparation of orders, processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials. packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area of the warehouse.
- Documenting activities accurately and assisting in troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
- Operation of machines in line with production schedule and quality targets.
- Keep an accurate log of work carried out and all adjustments.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat.
- Maintaining clean shipping area, complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Complete all process documentation
Hours of work:
- Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – 5.00pm
- Friday, 08:30 – 16:00
- Flexible to work one 12 hour shift a week followed by 4 6 hour day shifts.
Total initially 36 hours then returning to 39 hours per week
Rate of Pay:
- €14.30 per hour
Job requirements -Production Operator:
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
- Previous hands on experience.
- Good interpersonal skills, with energy and “can-do” attitude.
- Experience with Microsoft office tools or equivalent.
Contract Type:
- 1 month contract – potential of ongoing work and permanent position depending on business needs.
We are looking for candidates who are available on short notice with max 1 weeks notice.
