Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor – Evening Shift

Our Galway based client are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their evening shift.
The Production Supervisor will lead and develop a production team, ensuring high standards across Safety, Quality & Delivery.
The Production Supervisor will working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams, driving operational performance, employee engagement, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Product Builders, General Operatives, and Team Leads.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
  • Achieve production targets On Time in Full (OTIF) while maintaining quality and cost standards.
  • Ensure employees are fully trained, competent, and supported in their roles.
  • Drive cross-training, workforce flexibility, and employee development.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve safety, quality, productivity, and performance.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote effective communication and employee engagement through daily interaction and team meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, reduce waste, and improve processes.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

Key Requirements:

  • 3 plus years' experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
  • Strong people management, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Proven track record of delivering results across safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
