Exciting new opportunity for a Health & Safety professional from a construction background looking for an opportunity to take real ownership of a H&S function
This could be an excellent next step for an H&S Manager, EHS Manager, SHEQ Manager or experienced Senior H&S Advisor ready to take on broader responsibility.
This is a newly created senior role, the Health & Safety Manager will have the opportunity to shape and develop the company’s H&S function as the business continues to grow.
The Health & Safety Manager will lead the development of H&S systems, policies and procedures, work closely with management and site teams, oversee contractor safety and help embed a strong, practical safety culture across domestic and commercial retrofit projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ H&S experience within construction
- Level 8+ qualification in Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation
- Experience with H&S management systems, risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- A practical, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites
