Head of Marketing
CREGG are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Marketing to join our client based in Shannon. This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for developing and delivering the organisation’s marketing and brand strategy, supporting passenger growth, commercial performance and wider business objectives. The successful candidate will lead the marketing team and oversee brand management, digital marketing, market research, stakeholder engagement and campaign delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Client’s marketing and brand strategy in line with corporate objectives and the five-year business strategy.
• Lead, motivate and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with marketing agencies, media partners and external service providers.
• Develop and manage annual marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Establish marketing metrics and reporting frameworks to monitor campaign performance and inform strategic decision-making.
• Analyse customer insights, market research and analytics to optimise marketing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external partners on launches, promotional campaigns and initiatives designed to build product awareness and demand.
• Work with tourism agencies, local authorities and regional stakeholders to stimulate inbound tourism and travel demand.
• Provide marketing support for aviation business development initiatives and new service launches.
• Enhance the customer experience through targeted communications, digital innovation and customer-focused marketing.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to maximise promotional opportunities and enhance customer spend and commercial performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Third-level degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline, or substantial relevant experience.
• 10+ years’ experience across marketing, advertising and account or project management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional marketing teams within multi-brand businesses.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative research and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and programmes.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate across businesses and external partners.
• Excellent project management and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
• A creative approach, commercial mindset and proactive “can-do” attitude.
