Account Executive
CREGG are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Account Executive to join our client on a field-based basis. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships and achieving agreed sales and customer engagement targets across a defined geographical territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify new sales opportunities within the geographical area through engagement with existing customers and potential new clients.
- Deliver workplace and virtual presentations to promote the Client’s products and services and secure new customers.
- Conduct regular customer reviews to ensure strong and mutually beneficial relationships.
- Achieve agreed annual sales targets relating to new corporate agreements, new customers and customer engagement.
- Nurture and actively pursue new leads through the full sales process, from initial engagement through to closure.
- Maintain excellent levels of administration, including adherence to GDPR and data management processes.
- Work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies that ensure national accounts receive agreed levels of service.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver promotional materials and campaigns aligned with customer requirements.
- Manage appointments, workload and territory activity effectively to maximise customer engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrable experience managing the full sales cycle, from planning and prospecting through to securing the sale, customer delivery and ongoing account management.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present to both small and large audiences.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to build lasting and productive business relationships.
- Highly motivated with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- High levels of personal integrity, resilience and professionalism.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
