Warehouse/Forklift Operative

CREGG Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse/Forklift Operative, for full time work in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.

Our client is a company specialized in manufacturing and fitting of both commercial and residential furniture.

Warehouse/Forklift Operative – Job description:

• Organising the stock within the warehouse and controlling stock levels
• Requisitioning stock and special-order materials through the Production Planner
• Receiving incoming special-order materials and entering them into the MRP system
• Receiving incoming stock materials, and entering them into the MRP system
• Kitting factory teams according to the Production Plan
• Kitting outgoing orders according to the Works Order
• Organising collections from suppliers
• Keeping the warehouse as a safe, clean, and tidy work area

Rate of Pay – Weekly payment:

• €19.00 per hour

Hours of Work:

• Monday – Friday
• 08:00 – 16:30

Job requirements – Warehouse/Forklift Operative:

• Forklift Licence
• Manual Handling Training
• Excellent organizational skills
• A problem-solver
• A team player
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
• Willing and able to learn to use the company’s Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system
• Shipping and receiving procedures
• Supply chain and inventory management systems

Contract type:

• Full time (39 hours a week)
• Permanent/Long term
