Exciting new opportunity with a growing engineering and manufacturing business based in Sligo.

Due to continued expansion an experienced Engineering Design Manager is required to lead and develop the Design Engineering teams across Ireland and the UK.

Managing a small of team Design Engineers the Engineering Design Manager will be responsible for driving performance, developing people, improving processes, and introducing new ideas that enhance efficiency across design and manufacturing operations.

This is a leadership-focused role for an energetic, positive, and forward-thinking engineering professional who can inspire teams, implement change and help shape the future direction of the department.

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience leading engineering or design teams within manufacturing.
• Strong SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Ireland and the UK.
