Great opportunity for a Process Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer with 2–3 years' manufacturing experience to join a specialist advanced small to medium sized industrial manufacturing company in Shannon Co Clare.
An excellent opportunity for an engineer early in their career who wants to gain hands-on experience in process improvement, manufacturing equipment, materials processing, and lean manufacturing within a highly technical production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support process improvements to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Improve material yields and reduce scrap.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and production equipment.
- Analyse process data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with new process introduction and capital projects.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams.
About You
- Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
- Approximately 2–3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hands-on approach with an interest in machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, machining, or precision manufacturing would be advantageous.
