CNC Machine Operator – Day Shift
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment producing high-precision engineering components. This role involves working with CNC, NC, and conventional machinery in a quality-driven and continuous improvement setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC, NC, and conventional machines using drawings, sketches, and work instructions
- Carry out basic programming tasks including data input, editing, and debugging
- Perform in-process quality checks such as measuring, gauging, deburring, polishing, and finishing tasks
- Plan and manage own workload, including multi-machine operation where required
- Record production data accurately and report any variances
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and safety checks
Requirements
- Engineering qualification or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating CNC machinery is essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Hours of Work
- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:00pm – 12:00am (midnight), Friday 3:00pm – 10:00pm
Pay Rate
- Starting rate: €17.99 – €19.30 per hour (depending on experience/grade)
- After 18 months: increase of €4.00 per hour
- Shift allowance may apply for evening shifts
