Field Service Technician

CREGG are working with a global leader in innovative energy and retail solutions client in Co Dublin, in hiring a Field Service Technician – Full Time 

The Field service technician will install, service and maintain the suite of Petrol Station Equipment including Dispensers, Tank gauges, EPOS systems and Media solutions.

Principal Objectives:

• Service and repairs to range of fuel pumps, Industrial car wash systems, to range of EV charging equipment and of POS systems.
• Carry out Measurement Verification of fuel dispensers ensuring legislation is adhered to at all times and carry out project work in line with service project role 

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake planned preventative maintenance checks on sites and annual Measure Checks.
• Servicing, troubleshooting and repair of customer wash system equipment
• Carry out a variety of project work within the service department.
• Adhere to company and regulatory H&S procedures and policies at all times
• Attend training courses as workload dictates.
• Maintain high levels of personal professionalism in a customer facing role and maintain accurate records and return timeously.
• Miscellaneous tasks as required by managers/supervisors.
• Work with Area Controllers to support customers within agreed SL

Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):

• Valid full manual driving license.
• Basic electrical and mechanical skills.
• Have experience in the use of a range of hand tools including screwdrivers, 
spanners & socket-sets.
• Flexible approach to the working day that will involve travelling, overtime and 
working away from home depending on business needs.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and good communication skills.

Skills & Abilities Required:

• Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering qualifications
• Knowledge of PC Hardware, and Networking
• Petrol Forecourt and/or Wash systems or related industry experience desirable but not essential

Benefits:

• Vehicle, laptop, phone, tablet, tools and safety equipment.
• Subsistence & Standby rates claimed on days worked or if called to site. 
• Salary plus Bens and overtime (time and half) 
• Core hours Mon – Fri 8:30 – 5.00 pm
• Company Pension
• Subsistence €12.00 (tax free) per day
• Company vehicle with Fuel Card.
 
Contract:

  • Permanent contract 
  • 12 month Probation period with review every 6 months.

Hours of work: 

  • Core hours Mon – Fri 8:30 – 5.00 pm
  • Must be flexible 

Salary:

  • €32'000 Yearly Starting salary
