HR Generalist
CREGG are seeking a proactive and organised HR Generalist to join our client, a leading organisation in the biopharmaceutical sector, based in Sandyford, Dublin. This is a part-time consultancy contract, with a strong possibility of extension and potential permanency. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting HR operations, coordinating HR projects, maintaining HR documentation, and driving employee engagement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Support of HRBP:
- Develop and implement HR policies and workplace regulations, acting as the liaison between Irish employment legislation and global business practices.
- Adapt HR processes to align with Irish employment legislation and local business requirements.
- Maintain and regularly update the HR intranet with relevant policies, procedures, and communications.
- Analyse employee queries and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and organisational structures.
- Escalate employee relations issues, conflicts, or complex personnel matters to the HR Business Partner where appropriate.
Support of Payroll / Compensation & Benefits
- Act as the on-site first point of contact for HR-related enquiries, directing employees to the appropriate resources and support teams.
- Provide guidance on existing HR policies and procedures while referring personal employee matters or requests requiring adjustments to the central HR team.
- Ensure all employee enquiries are accurately recorded and systematically tracked.
- Manage the generic HR mailbox, responding to general employee queries relating to Irish HR policies and legislation.
- Escalate specialist payroll, time and attendance, and compensation & benefits queries to the appropriate Payroll or Compensation & Benefits teams.
- Coordinate with central HR functions to ensure employees receive timely and accurate support for payroll and benefits-related matters.
Experience:
- 3–5 years’ experience in HR operations, HR coordination, or a similar HR generalist role
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic working environment
- Strong commitment to operational excellence
- High accuracy and reliability in work output
- Strong time management and organisational abilities
- Skilled in coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering on commitments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
