Project Engineer Construction (9-12 month contract)

Job Purpose:

Our Client are seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate the delivery of a new development. This is a hands-on, fully onsite role, supporting the project from construction through to commissioning and handover.
Working closely with the Project Manager, design team and contractors, you will help ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the headquarters development from construction to completion.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and design teams.
• Assist with planning, programming and monitoring project progress.
• Oversee mechanical and electrical installation works.
• Produce and update AutoCAD drawings.
• Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor site activities, quality, safety and programme.
• Attend site meetings and report on project progress, risks and milestones.

Education and Expereince:

• Degree or qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Building Services, Construction Engineering or similar.
• Experience delivering construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical detailing.
• Experience coordinating project programmes and multiple contractors.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full driving licence.
