Warehouse Operator

CREGG are hiring a Warehouse Operator for our client in Shannon, Clare. This is a fixed term position for 3 months, with view to extension.

**Must have 1+ Years Warehouse experience**

Shift – 
Monday- Friday 
8am – 4.30pm  Monday to Thursday 
8am – 3.30pm Friday 
39hr week  

Pay Rate – €15.00 per hour

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for day-to-day receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders or managing, organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Any other procedures deemed necessary to ensure operational KPIs are achieved.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Must comply with SOPs and work instructions related to job function
  • Will be held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Works collaboratively with peers and internal customers
  • Contributes to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance
  • Proactively logs and escalates potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies
  • Participate in root cause, corrective / preventive action activities as required.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
  • Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order.
  • Move freight and stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English. 
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 34lbs
  • Must be able to bend, scoop and reach to perform above duties.
