Medical Device Production Operative

CREGG Recruitment are looking for a Medical Device Production Operative in Parkmore, Galway.

Our client is a medical device production company, looking for a person with previous experience in medical sewing/suturing.

This is a full time temporary/seasonal role, with guaranteed 39 hours per week.

Job description – Production Operative:

  • Assembles product in line with company needs and ensures the quality of the builds.
  • Suturing (previous experience in sewing/suturing/usage of needless – advantage).
  • Clean room.
  • Completes basic equipment maintenance and cleaning activities.
  • Investigates any process problems, abnormalities or defects.
  • Works with Operations Line Lead to ensure production goals are met.
  • Performs incoming, in-process, final inspection, tests and audits per requirements.
  • Assists with process/equipment validation and data analysis.
  • Completes all necessary quality and other documentation.

Hours Of Work:

  • Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00

Salary:

  • €16.50 per hour

Job requirements – Production Operative:

  • Minimum of 2 years of medical device manufacturing experience (cleanroom) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience with GDP & GMP standards.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective contributor with a light level of supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of desktop software e.g. excel, word – computer literacy will be advantageous.
  • Excellent level of English language, in both reading and writing.

Contract type:

  • Full time/Temporary (6 months)
