Warehouse Operative – Electronics

CREGG Recruitment are looking for a full time Warehouse Operative/Material Handler in Parkmore, Galway.

Our client is a manufacturing company specialized in production of electronics and medical components.

Job description:

• Responsible for the receiving and identifying of incoming goods.
• Responsible for the proper running and layout of stores
• Responsible for ensuring that all stored material is properly identified and located.
• Responsible for the stock rotation and cycle counting.
• Responsible for stores housekeeping.
• Responsible for use of ERP system & Factory Track system transactions.
• Forklift driving – reach truck and counterbalance.

Hours of Work:

• Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday, 08:00 – 15:00
• Total 38.5 hours per week

Rate of Pay:

• €15.45 per hour

Job requirements – Warehouse Operative:

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
• Experience driving forklifts – required.
• Ability to work well with others and pay attention to detail.
• Sound decision making and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Quality System.
• Good numerical skills.
• Strong PC Skills (word, excel).

Contract Type:

• Full time (39 hours per week)
• Permanent (after successful 11 month probation)
